Stuff it IN!
We just got back from a wonderful day near the ocean. We went to Peggy's Cove and enjoyed the big waves and some Nova Scotia scenery.
We went with people from MrNurse's work place and I enjoyed meeting some of the members of his team here.
Then we all went to a seafood restaurant and I stuffed myself with clams, chips , shrimp, scallops. Ummmumm! It was so good, but now I'm going to have to go lie down! We ate about 4 hours ago, and I'm still full!!
Peggy's Cove is awesome. Very beautiful and the rocks and waves are majestic. There's a memorial for the Swissair plane that crashed there in 1998.Very moving.
Gotto lie down now, folks, all the fresh sea air is more than I can take!
Thinking about the folks in the path of the hurricane. God Bless.

So....adios and via con Dios.....if you're ever in the neighborhood after you get your medical release, feel free to look me up....I can be a lot of fun when not taken too seriously....YATTA YATTA YATTA, AD INFINITUM, AD NAUSEUM, ETC. ETC, AND BLAH BLAH BLAH.....

now now, you just come on too strong for our little southern lady friend! Are you not supposedly a Southerner, too? Where did the "gentleman" part of that get to?

it really is very pretty here. I doubt winter will be any worse than New England ever was. In fact, some people say it is not as bad. All my neighbors say I talk like a Yankee! I don't hear it, but I do hear very broad Canadian accents all around me!

WHAT???? Surely you jest, Nursey Worsey! I don't have the medical trainin' you have and you are certainly better prepared to recongnize a borderline psycotic quickern me, but.......here is how I sees it......Ya try to be provocative, and you are an "insensitive asshole".
You try to be nice to this honey, and she ignores you. You come to defend her honor, and she deletes your posts. Come on, you read Red's stuff,..... heavens to betsy,... no one could be more self centered...!!
And, I resent that...that is MY JOB!!!
I am the most important person I know.....It is my lot in life to be a boorish asshole, and I resent anyone tryin' to engage in a battle of wits , and then shows up UNARMED!
As for bein' a Gentleman, I couldn't possibly pretend to enjoy reading such pretentious BS and let it go unmentioned.....jes tryin' to stir up some conversation that might be just slightly more interesting than what lunch box you had in grammar school........
and.....you'd be interested in knowing how many of her blog pals have sent me private messages askin' me to let go with torpedo tubes 3 and 4.....but, there is a point of no return....sides, if I damaged her boat any more, I'd put folks in the unenviable position of having to decide whether or not to rescue her or just let her slip on her scuber tanks and fend for herself......(course, if she takes on too much water, I might be willin' to offer her a few chest compressions and a bit of mouth to mouth.....)
So, if she'd like to make up, by postin' a few naked pictures of ole Red, I'd consider that a peace offering (piece?)......but, until then,
I am going to have to bore the crap out of everyone and tell ya.......
I HAD A BEATLES LUNCH BOX!!!! (CRIKEY!)

At least we know you're not going to turn that traditional pastey-white Canadian pallor.

As a Southerner, I cannot imagine anything more insulting than being called a "Yankee".
But I understand that it's an international thing - many Americans are referred to as Yanks.

Do you have everything unpacked? (If you do, it's going to drive me mad because I've been in my house for 6 years and I still have some boxes that I haven't unpacked yet)

I read a "health" book recently that recommended NOT eating crustaceans or other shellfish because they contain posions. This guy was supposed to be Christian based too? I LOVE FRIED SEAFOOD!

I suppose there are times not to eat them, due to their natural cycle etc. also there is something called "red tide" an algae that produces toxins in shellfish. But when that is not apparent, shellfish is delish, and good for you! so eat and enjoy!
